ALINA has completed the project “Protection of wood surfaces using environmentally friendly materials”

ALINA has completed the project “Protection of wood surfaces using environmentally friendly materials (Koksnes virsmu aizsardzība, izmantojot videi draudzīgus materiālus)” that was started on 01.09.2017 and completed 31.12.2018.

In accordance with the contract No. 1.2.1.1/16/A/005 between “Competence center of smart materials and technologies” Ltd. and the Central Finance and Contracting Agency, concluded on 26th of September, 2016, the study is conducted by “ALINA” Llc. with support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the project “Competence center of smart materials and technologies”.

Deliverables of the project are:

1. The ALINA LIFE product has been tested for physico-chemical properties
2. Three different wood paint formulations are developed and tested – physico-chemical properties and biodegradation tests have been performed on wood paint products to assess the performance of ALINA LIFE on paint products.
